Interface is hewn and hand carved from one solid stump of Cherry wood. On the sides of this work is evidence and marks left by a chainsaw. This work was inspired by the nobility of all trees, as told in the fable of Aesop, The Trees and the Axe. The story's moral, "Nothing bothers a man more than to see he has aided his own undoing". This work creates a shift in perception, what is real and unreal. It was created with the spirit of awareness in mind.
