Matt Kinney (b. 1970, Georgetown, MA) lives and works in New York and Massachusetts. He attended Pratt Institute and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts where he received his Diploma in 1998. His work encompasses sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking and collage. Kinney’s work investigates the interrelationship between the utilitarian and natural world. His art practice has recently taken him (2025) to Mainland China and back for an art residency and exhibition with Boxes Art Museum, Dongguan. He exhibits his work internationally, having participated in numerous group shows, fairs and with solo shows in New York City, Guangzhou and Dongguan, China.
