Matt Kinney (b. 1970, Georgetown, MA) lives and works in New York and Massachusetts. He attended Pratt Institute and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts where he received his Diploma in 1998. His work encompasses sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking and collage. Kinney engages in a wide variety of subjects stemming from his reverence for the animal kingdom, the human form and the means of which the constructed world is formed around us. He recently returned from China from his second residency with Boxes Art Museum. He exhibits his work internationally, having participated in numerous group shows, fairs and with solo shows in New York City and in Guangzhou and Dongguan, China.
Kinney attended Pratt Institute and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts where he received his Diploma in 1998.
